Dixieland Plantation is a 3100 acre privately owned hunting preserve that specializes in high quality hunting for the serious sportsman.  Hunters stay in a newly renovated southern style ranch house we call "Big Oak Lodge" and enjoy delicious southern style meals, with special diets available upon request. 

All hunting is professionally guided with the placement of stands located to afford the best chance of game sightings.  All game is professionally managed by a wildlife biologist to promote maximum growth.  The plantation contains 1000 acres of enclosed deer habitat to maximize the genetic potential, the nutritional status, and the age factor of our deer.  We take pride in growing trophy size game to make the hunting experience of our clients what we think is the best in the South. Meat packaging, shipping, and award winning taxidermy are available. Applicable Georgia hunting licenses are required.

Other activities available to guests staying at Big Oak Lodge include target shooting, bass fishing, and wild boar hunting.
